"The Word Is Go"

The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest... Luke 10:2

Some of you alreday know that Im currently living In Morelia, working at a Childrens Home and supporting the Church here. Well, since the kids are allow to go to their families for the Summer, I was wondering: What should I do?

I did NOT know. I started praying about staying here for the Summer or go back to Ixtlan, I didnt know :), but I know the Lord had something in store for me, so I emailed Marshal, & Jan and asked them about Barra Vieja for a week or so and I contined praying. A few days latter I recived an email, "The Word Is Go", I was so amazed how quick the answerd was, but I know there was a purpose.

One of the dougthers from a sister there JUST started REPENTING!!!,

I knew God had something for me to do there. I am going to start a dicipleship with her.

This is not my fist time there, I been there a few time before, and as always, I feel so BLESSED, so BLESSED to go there and see the love, the GREAT love they have for our Lord and Savior, even when there is just four members and a few other attenders, they get so encourege by one and other, to see the faith they have, woo, I count it as a huge BLESSING from my Lord, and all of you can be part of this blessing!!! ( the following is something I copied from an email I recived from the Mission Comitte)

Opportunity to Serve in Mexico
The church in Ixtlan is maturing, and has born fruit - manifested in groups of believers who gather in Morelia, Michoacan; Barra Vieja/Lomas de Chapultepec, Guerrero; and Queretaro, Queretaro. Far to the north, an additional congregation has grown in Magdalena de Kino, Sonora where World Relief in conjunction with the Mission Committee operates Casa Vida y Esperanza (House of Life and Hope) which is a home for orphans and at-risk children.
The Need for Discipleship
Our Apostolic Christian brothers and sisters in Mexico share the same deep-rooted faith in Christ and have a strong desire to follow the whole counsel of God in obedience to the teachings of Christ and His apostles. This can be a challenge for new believers just learning to know the Lord.
Faithful Brethren are Needed
Much as Philip encountered the Ethiopian eunuch reading the Book of the Prophet Isaiah but needing someone to help him understand, new believers everywhere need the nurturing of the church. This requires faithful brethren like Philip to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit - going where He leads, even though it be to a desert.
Opportunity to Serve
There is a need for faithful, spiritually mature, Spanish-speaking Brothers and Sisters to serve in Mexico as faithful examples, teachers, and mentors - not as lords over God's heritage, but rather as equals and servants. If you, or someone you know, fits these qualifications, please prayerfully consider this calling. There are currently a number of American brethren serving in various capacities in Mexico. Many of them have left family, homes, businesses, and friends in order to follow Christ's leading.
The Lord will Provide
These brethren would testify that the Lord is faithful to provide all we need, if we are following Him. In each of these locations, there are opportunities of various kinds. In addition to serving the church, there are opportunities to serve the local communities by providing employment and functioning as good examples in the local community fabric.
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phil 4:19
So, with the blessing of my Lord and also with the blessing from my spiritual liader, Im going to Barra Vieja for 10 days and Im asking for your prayers on this, :)
hopefully I can blog a little bit from there, but if not, I promise to blog about my time there..., sometime,
God Bless you all!!!
