January 11th was the date :),

but...

God had something else in mind

Can't belive that Mom went back to Mexico today!!!, seems like it was yesterday when I was still in Morelia saying my goodbyes to Mom and looking forward to seening her in November, and so excitted and ready to spend Chritsmas in NV with my whole fam, but no, it's Jan 11th already, the day when I suposted to be back in MX. But instead, Im here, thinking that by this time I would been there (Ixtlan) right now, enjoying my two other sisters there and great friens, but, totally worthty the delay here in IN, :), because that means, some EXTRA time (a week) with the Troxels!!! and..., the wedding of a very dear and special friend :)


Originally, I had a plane ticket to go to my Beautiful Country today, but, "change plans" :). My dear friend Laura Jimenez is gettig married in OR in less than two weeks :), and I feel so honer to be in her wedding!!!


But in other news, Im still alive and here in IN, one more week. I cant belibe that it's been 6 weeks since I got here, I really been enjoying my time here with my fam and friends, traveling around a little bet.


Praise the Lord my whole fam had a great Chritsmas time together in Reno NV, where my brother lives.


Well, as I go back and reflect on the last year, woo, there is so much to be thankful for, the Lord has been soo good to me, and I know that He will provide as well for this new year.


I'm hoping to blog about my time here in the States (if I don't loose my pics), so you can picture how great my time here it's been, so far, so good :).

I'm sitting here, my mind goes back to the day when i was packing my staff and getting ready to come to this place, who would thought that this was going to be this hard to leave this place.



I work here at the Childrens Home for almost 8 months, 8 amazing months that certanly went by really fast.



Last year I was praying about coming to this place and volunteer, now Im praying that throgth this 8 months the Name, the Holy Name of my Savior were glorify, and be glorify in this place, to Him be the glory!!!



There are so many thoughts going througt my ming right now, but I just can't put them together, tears are falling, I know Im going to miss this place, the kids, the church, the people, my new friends, I know it's gonna be hard, but




Life is Hard, But God is good!!!

"Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we

ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Hola Todos!!!


Well, today I decided to blog, :).


Yestarday while talking to my sister Rosario, she mention something about my blog, and I was like your rigth, October is in it last days and there in nothing on my blog from October, but woo, so much that has happend since a blog the last.


(Sorry, I WILL NOT POST PICS, I lost them :(, I know, how sad, even my Barra Vieja pics, and I really, really was thinking about posting them ).


The first part in October, Christy Stoller came from Guadalajara to sapend some time here with me, it was a fun weekend. Cris, I really enjoy having you here, and getting to know you better, gracias por venir, ojala que no sea la ultima vez, well, pronto me voy, pero ya sabes que siempre podemos organizar algo y venir a la capital :).


Right the day she left, Heidi Kruger came from Il to spend sometime here in Morelia (gracias Heidi, so good to be with you as well, and getting to know you un poco mas, eres una girl muy fun). The next day Maggie came and oh wooo, we had so much fun!!!


October 5th, woho, time to go to Leon Guanajuato for a Medical/Dental trip. We three packed our staff and there we go!!!, we stayed in Guanajuato (the capital) for the night, and oh woo, I loved it, I was so tempted to no go to Leon and just stay in Guanajuato, soo much to see, so much to do, a very very beautiful place, loved loved loved it!!!


The next day we went to Leon to meet the rest of the team. We worked there for a week, a weeked full of work, full of fun, full of everything, but most important, full of blessings, even though, I was supper tired, its always a HUGE blessing to me to go on those trips. Every time, it makes me realized how much I have, how bless I am. And to see all this people (some of them not having almost anything) happy and content, oh woo, what a joy.


After a week in Leon, we (Maggie, Laura, Debbie, Breana and I) went back to Guanajuato for another "fun" day there, and oh boy, WE DID HAD FUN!!!, thank you chicas for doing this, a very special time with all of you :).


In total, it makes 10 days out of the Casa, and let me confess, I was sooooo ready to come back, the reason???..., I dont think I even know, but what I know, it that I was sooo ready to be back, oh woo, the happiness of living in a house and not on a hotel :)


After the trip, alot of things had happend, but one of the things that I been telling myself..., "Gloria, you are going to leave this place soon, be prepare, you know its going to be hard, but the Lord is with you, you should not be afraid"


Yes, Im leaving this place in exactly two weeks from today.


I hope I can post some pics before I leave, because I know its going to be hard to find time to post after I leave, but let see :).

From Last Month!!! / El mes pasado :)


So, it's been a month already (almost) since I went to Ixtlan for the baptisms. Praise the Lord it was an awesome weekend!, I had so much fun with fam and friends, but most important, the fellowship I had with my brothers and sisters there.

I didn't take any pics on Saturday (the testimonies), but here is a pic of my new Brother and sisters in Christ. Javier & Vero (a really nice couple, I love them) and my dearest Laura are the three new members in our little congregation here in Ixtlan!

Monday was Meggs Bday!!!, so we went to this beautiful Lake here in Michoacan, Patzcuaro, and celebrate among with Laura's Fam. (his fiance side, Brent Sinn) and her Dad and Bro.

On Tuesday Meggs and I celebrated our Bdays, (since Meggs is the 6th and mines is the 8th, we celebrate the 7th).

So, we (Laura, Clau and myself) went to get the pizza and when we got back, this is what we found..., Regg and Meggs, aparently Regg was making fun of my 27 years :)

There you go, yes, Im 27 now, wooo, can't belive it, wasn't it yestardday that I was born???

Wednesday (my Bday) I took off to be in Morelia at the Casa. And let me tell you that it wasn't easy AT ALL. My Bday, I sad goodbye to Mom (she is going to IN for her new grandaugther), that was my last time in Ixtlan (Im going back in like 2 months, but that means, my time here at the Casa is coming to the END :( ). Plus, I was soooo tired and just the fact that I was going to be back here and take care of this kids, I was like no please :(, but, when I got back, the kids were REALLY REALLY happy to see me, and as soon as I got here, one of them come for a bandage, another one, something was hurting, another one just to say that she missed me like crazy, I was sooo tired, but that, THAT made me realized what Im here for, it doesn't mather if it IS my Bday, if its raining, if whatever, God brought me here with a purpose and even when sometimes it's not EASY to do it, I still want to be ready to say Here I am Lord!!!

Good Thing Is Friday

So, Laurita, one of my coworkers is off for a week. Laurita is the one encharge of 8 boys, and Im encharge of 7 girls, well, since she is off, Im "encharge" of her 8 boys, wooo, I dont think I have ever been this E X C I T T E D about Friday.

we get together every nigth for a Bible Story and to pray, so this is pretty much how my room look like :)

I asked them who was ready to go to bed and yes, they ALL were ready, look how tired they look, oh my kids, how I love them!

Praise the Lord Laurita Is coming soon, and she better, because, tomorrow Im taking off!!!!!, yes, Im supper excitted, and this is probably the whole reson why Im so excitd is Friday!!!

We are having Baptisems in Ixtlan this weekend, my friend Lady Laura is getting baptized and another couple from Ixtlan, Im supper excitted to go ans see my fam, friends and..., Im just so excitted, Its been a month since i was there and I really miss my church fam. there.

So, please say a pray for our church this weekend!

It's Been A Week Already since ...

School started :),

yes, and to be honest, Im really happy with that, as much as I miss tha kids playing around, doing this, doing that, I was so ready to have some extra time to do my own staff, specially having a date with my Lord!!!

But the cuties went also back to their Casa Cuna (childrens home), theys also left the first day of school, so it was really sad to see all of our kids leave, some of them just for school, but this little ones maybe forever, I miss them :(

I know there is a lot of people praying for the church in Magdalena, or Ixtlan, but Morelia is the one for this week. But PLEASE, fall on your knees and PRAY, we need a couple or one or two :) brothers willing to come and serve here...





A few reasons why...



* The Lord started this work here, is His work, and He will, and already is working in peoples heart here



* There are 3 ladies (each one of them coming with at least 2 kids) attending church, Praise the Lord



* We need somebody (fulltime) here to reach out this people, someone willing to come and serve, extend Gods Word, but in Thruth, as he is the Thruth



* And of course there are MORE :)




Rogelio & Fernanda do an amazing job on sharing Gods Word, and I thank the Lord for them. They also treat me soo good, I love them, pray for them as they "lead" the church here. Rogelio shares every Sunday and Fernanda is having a Bible Study on Tuesdays and Fridays with the ladies, and when we have a lot of kids a have the Bible story with the little ones :)



SO, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR LIFTING UP THE CHURCH HERE IN MORELIA IN PRAYER,

A Few More Happenings / Otras Cositas Que Han Pasado :)

Ayer mientras estaba en la cocina haciendo unas gelatinas o algo no recuerdo que, uno de los niños chiquitos empezo a llorar, pero LLORAR con ganas. Como Florence estaba con el, no le tome muca importancia de lo que habia pasado, pero de repente vi sangre, si, era Rafa con el dedo gordo de su pie sangrando y el "muriendose" de dolor :)
